Virat Kohli has been struggling with form in Tests, managing only one fifty in his last ten innings. In the recent series against New Zealand, he scored just 93 runs across six innings.
With the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia approaching, there’s pressure on Kohli to make a strong comeback.
Less than two weeks before the first Test in Perth, Kohli, along with his wife Anushka Sharma and their children, was seen at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.
As paparazzi spotted them, Kohli politely requested, “Please don’t take Anushka’s pictures,” especially since their young children were with them.
Kohli and Anushka, who married in 2017, welcomed their daughter, Vamika, in 2021 and have consistently requested privacy for her.
In a previous statement, the couple explained, “We seek privacy for our child and want to give her the chance to live freely, away from media and social media. As she grows older, we can’t restrict her movement, so your support is needed. A special thank you to fan clubs and internet users for not posting images—your kindness and maturity mean a lot.”
