Team India began the third Test of their series against New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium on November 1.

The day was eventful, highlighted by Virat Kohli dancing on the field. While fielding in the slips, fans sang the popular Bollywood song “My Name is Lakhan,” known for Kohli’s dance moves.

In response, Kohli performed the song’s signature dance step, and clips of this moment have gone viral on social media.

In the match, New Zealand batted first, with Tom Latham scoring 28 and Devon Conway making four. Will Young contributed 71, while Rachin Ravindra was dismissed for five. Daryl Mitchell’s impressive 82 off 129 balls helped New Zealand reach 235 in their first innings.

Ravindra Jadeja took five wickets, Washington Sundar claimed four, and Akash Deep took one.

India’s batting started poorly, with Rohit Sharma scoring 30 and Yashasvi Jaiswal 17. Nightwatchman Mohammed Siraj fell for a duck, and Virat Kohli was run out for just four.

India finished Day 1 at 86/4, trailing by 149 runs, with Shubman Gill (31) and Rishabh Pant (1) unbeaten at the crease.
