Pakistan spinner Sajid Khan humorously taunted West Indies batter Jomel Warrican with WWE star John Cena’s iconic ‘you can’t see me’ gesture during Day 2 of the second Test at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
The Test has been action-packed, with 20 wickets falling on the first day. West Indies managed 163 runs in their first innings, led by Noman Ali’s brilliant 6/41.
In reply, Pakistan was bowled out for 154, giving the visitors a slim 9-run lead. Warrican stood out for the West Indies with 4 wickets.
In their second innings, West Indies scored 244 runs, thanks to captain Kraigg Brathwaite’s 52. Sajid Khan and Noman Ali claimed four wickets each for Pakistan, with Noman achieving a 10-wicket haul and a hat-trick.
The sledging incident occurred on the final ball of the 59th over in West Indies’ second innings. Sajid bowled a sharp off-spin delivery that Warrican attempted to sweep but missed completely.
Sajid then walked up to Warrican and performed the ‘you can’t see me’ motion. Warrican, taking it in good spirits, smiled at the playful gesture.
Chasing a target of 254 runs, Pakistan ended Day 2 at 76/4, with Saud Shakeel and Kashif Ali at the crease. Kevin Sinclair rattled the hosts, taking 2 wickets, including the key scalp of Babar Azam for 31.
