The former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain is set to don the iconic yellow jersey for at least one more season, sparking excitement among his admirers who eagerly await the tournament’s 18th edition.
Before the IPL action kicks off, Dhoni has been enjoying quality time with family and friends. A viral video on social media captured him and his wife, Sakshi Singh Rawat, dancing to a Pahadi folk song, a nod to their ancestral roots in the Almora district of Uttarakhand.
As for CSK, the franchise entered the IPL 2025 mega auction in Saudi Arabia with a remaining purse of ₹55 crore. They successfully re-signed key players like New Zealand’s Devon Conway and rising all-rounder Rachin Ravindra.
In a heartwarming move, CSK also brought back Ravichandran Ashwin after a nine-year hiatus, marking a much-anticipated homecoming for the Chennai-based spinner.
