Pant received a massive 68.75% salary hike from his previous ₹16 crore deal, while Iyer’s ₹12.25 crore salary from the last season skyrocketed by 118.37% to ₹26.75 crore.
Punjab Kings were also in the spotlight for their aggressive bidding. They retained Arshdeep Singh using the RTM (Right to Match) card after a fierce bidding war, securing the pacer for ₹18 crore—an astonishing 350% salary hike. Yuzvendra Chahal also joined Punjab for ₹18 crore after being released by Rajasthan Royals ahead of the auction.
